     It‘s the old intel platform, so x86 instead of aarch64 nowadays. So there shouldn‘t be many issues to run ubuntu on it. (Maybe driver issues for BT/Wifi?)
     In the x86 era of Apple, it was possible to build your hackintosh with standard HW.

     @TuxOnBike in this configuration it is quite enough for working on the Internet and working in GIMP (with reservations when the resolution of the 10k picture starts to slow down)
