     @fcktheworld587 @joe @cbarbermd Everyone should have known that he would test the boundaries of the laws and constitutional interpretation, rip out anything that was never properly enshrined in law by Congress. He is not an honorable person that would respect precedent and tradition.

     @fcktheworld587 @cbarbermd @joe this is largely the Dems fault for being weak when they had full control. They should have had a massive bill protecting so many vulnerable rights and just rammed it through. How are you going to give it bad press? "Oh no the Dems didn't change any laws they just prevented a president from taking away rights and freedoms unilaterally." It's like a common law marriage, but for rights 😊

     @feld @cbarbermd @fcktheworld587 @joe That’s a pretty shitty take. The Dems never had the kind of “full control” you pretend. They were never monolithic enough to “ram through” legislation like that. Blaming them for not being good enough excuses the people who choose to be the worst.

     @Raz @cbarbermd @fcktheworld587 @joe 60 seat supermajority during Obama's first term for a short period of time and they did nothing with it.
     
     One Senator was out, Bird of W. VA. He was super old. They could have used the opportunity for him to resign, the governor then picks one of 3 nominees presented by the party. Tada, they can do anything they want from July 7 to Aug 25. Kill the 70 vote filibuster and the dumb reconciliation rules and enjoy 2 years of passing anything they wanted
     
     All they needed was courage to actually follow through with the CHANGE promise
