For the people in back, the government's new "rule" (EO) against DEI only applies to the government, not private entities, including publicly traded ones. The government cannot, constitutionally, bar a company from setting its own hiring and other corporate policies, assuming those are not violative of actual law.

So, EVERY COMPANY that is dropping its DEI programs is doing so because it wants to and for absolutely no other reason.
