   Got it working in C, and running on real hardware! But in the process figured out what I was doing wrong in Zig.
   
   I'll probably be going back to Zig after this because It's been kind of unpleasant using C again. Got used to Zig real fast.

     @teto it used to be so hard but now you can just download a few tools and grab some example code and it just works. Like this looks cool but it was actually super easy to get something on screen. making a game is harder though because it's all tile based and color is paletted which is a pain in the ass.

     @lapin what's coming in 0.14.0? I'll probably be sticking with 0.13.0 because nothing worked for me in Master when I tried it.

     it’s mostly backend stuff iirc but there’s @branchHint (which works kinda like __builtin_expect), complete removal of usingnamespace, and new APIs for build.zig, which is a breaking change, at the top of my head

     oh yeah and there’s this labeled switch/continue, which imo is just a glorified labeled block, but it may be useful for me in the future?

     what’s not working for you in master?

     @lapin I don't remember, but the very first thing I did was use Master and the code I was given to barely bootstrap my project failed. I rolled back to Release and it worked perfectly
