   Wondering if this is something specific to my Mastodon instance or maybe content from certain other instances, but do any of you experience where there is no media/link preview on a toot, and when you click the Favorite icon the preview suddenly appears?

     @tokenwizard yes, that's because the post doesn't request it until you interact with it. I guess that's to help quell the DDOS issue that happens when big Fediverse accounts share links to small websites.
