     What's the problem with HSTS? The server simply says "BTW refuse to connect to me without HTTPS in the future" and the browser says "ok" which seems fine to me... Or am I confusing it with something else.

     I guess it kinda makes sense? Hmm. Maybe it should just increase the warning level. Or browsers should have an about:config switch to set them to expert mode and then it has a quick "ignore" button.
     
     It does make sense for high security stuff though. I ain't using my online banking without a valid cert lmao.
