   Here's my belated #introduction

   I spent my career quietly working on government ethics issues behind the scenes, trying to stay out of the news. That changed when a corrupt president took office and refused to divest his conflicting financial interests while I was director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

   Now I'm with the Project On Government Oversight, @pogowatchdog, fighting for democracy and accountable, ethical government.

   I've left Twitter (@waltshaub) and am loving Mastodon.
