   @kevinrns always been this way, you just never noticed. Fediverse works by follow relationships and boosting. It usually isn't a problem on bigger servers though, cause there's many other people who could also be following each other, carrying the posts anyway.

     Is the hiding of replies from non- followed accounts a new thing, an old thing I never noticed, a bug that will be fixed, or a result of discussions about privacy?
