    @twitloyalist For a human population to really thrive 3 things must be true.

    1. There needs to be a short term safety net that every body pays into and a mechanism to care for the truly disabled

    2. I if somebody will not work, they shall not eat. So no free money, nearly everybody can contribute something.

    3. power between capitalists and the masses needs to be balanced with regulation and trade policies that protect the value of labor.

      @twitloyalist
      Socialism isn't the opposite of allowing businesses to do what they want.

      A well regulated free market economy is what is needed but doesn't exist here anymore. Here we basically have cronyism.

      Government does what big business wants.

      Every bit of socialism that is adopted robs people of liberty. It also robs people of initiative and many of dignity cuz it enables being a mooch.

      @Phil The balance between socialism and capitalism is what makes a country successful. Both capitalism and socialism will destroy itself with out some aspect of the other. Allowing businesses to do what ever they want, consolidate will hurt the populous. giving the populous freedom to do nearly nothing and still succeed will hurt the businesses that pay wages. China and Viet, both are (or were) growing because of a balance. We need that balance too. 47 is moving too far to capitalism.

      @twitloyalist

      I was in Tanzania a long time ago and it was socialist. And it's true that any socialist government can't long survive without abandoning it to some degree, Vietnam and China are both examples of that, there are also many countries in Europe, that have leaned less and less toward socialism.

      This even as the US as moved more and more toward it.

      @Phil Tanzania is listed as a capitalist state with a govt structure similar to what 47 wants. Strong presidential powers. It was privatized in the 90s, having been socialists since the 50s. Vietnam and China are both adopting more capitalist operation but have strong govt controls.

      @twitloyalist yes I have been to socialist countries and they suck. It can never work well because its incentives lean toward mooching and laziness. Moderates can stay out of the camps as long as the bend the knee sufficiently.

      @Phil Have you ever been in a socialist country? The few that I have been to would be a fine place to round me up too. Are you planning on taking the moderates too, so that only the conservatives will live in the oligarchy? Imagine, living in a place where you don't have to listen to 47 and his sycophants. Posture every day.

      Who leaked the word that as soon as all the J6 insurectionists were finally out of jail we were gonna round up all the leftists and put them in camps? They are having meltdowns over it.
      We should let them know that the camps are going to be identical to living under socialism.
