   @nblr @markuswet well, "dammit moxie!" became a meme for a reason.

   However, moxie's gone from Signal, and Meredith Whittaker is doing a pretty damn good job I'd say, so I am willing to cut them some slack.

     This isn't alarmism by any standard, but I won't let a chance slip for taking a piss at i'm-so-clever-and-handsome-moxie and the trust-us-we're-the-good-guys-crew.

     TIL: Signal uses Clownflare for caching payloads for users. lolwat. Feeling somewhat vindicated for not using it. „It’s encrypted anyway“ so why care about the metadata, I guess 🤷♂️🤪 wild.
