  Okay so what's the best way to get a good, solid classic Motif desktop (CDE?) going on Linux or FreeBSD? Is there any distribution that specializes in this sort of stuff?

  So the Fedora Silverblue experiment has a big snag: for some reason, thermal management is a hot mess, literally. So I might as well experiment with more nerdy stuff on my XPS 13.
