On the one hand I have some doubts that i686→WASM binary translation is a very useful thing, on the other hand it's interfaced to JS. So the idea is just mad enough to like it: https://github.com/leaningtech/cheerpx-meta
Though we recently had a discussion with @skobkin about legacy x86 soft in the world migrating to AArch64 (and I hope to RV64 soon), maybe this is the solution?
