I think that one of the most important hashtag on Mastodon is #today.

So much content on here is about politics or complaints about one thing or another. We tend to forget that we are all human and that it's in our everyday lives where we can find commonality.

And part of being "social" is to embrace the things we share.

It's why I boost #today so much. It's where we can share our plans for the day and see ourselves in the other.
