   Well.... it's buckle-up time.

   An unprecedented #Sneauxmageddon is about to hit my area and South Louisiana hard starting late tonight; and Trumpster's officially back in charge, only with a supplicant Congress and the Star Chamber SCOTUS in his back pocket. We live in....interesting times.

     Thankfully, I was able to complete my move to my relative's apartment yesterday, so I am set and ready for the ice kicking we're about to get.

     They're now talking 5 to 7 inches of sneaux (South Louisiana/Acadiana term) for tonight through Tuesday evening, and temps staying below freezing for 60 straight hours starting around 6 pm tonight. Plus, wind chills in the single digits to mid teens. Brrrrrr.

     7:30 AM Update:

     It is now sneauxing steadily; nearly 3-4" now on the ground. Another 4-6" possible before everything moves out around 3 pm (CST). Winter Storm Warning and Cold Weather Advisory now out for my area; Blizzard Warning just to my south and west covering Beaumont to Lake Charles to Lafayette area. Extreme Cold Warning up for tonight for expected air temps in single digits and wind chills near and below 0° F.

     Brrrrrrrrr.
