   It isn't yours - the operation is dependent on drivers and HP+nvidia has only provided ones that don't properly function and have refused to provide sufficient details as to how to use the hardware (i.e. the information required to write free software drivers).
   
   Nvidia, AMD and HP have instead handcuffed the hardware to stop anyone from writing a free software driver.

     I installed Ubuntu on my HP Victus 16 (Ryzen 5, RTX 4050) yesterday, and the experience was horrible. My display was getting dimmed when running on battery, and there was no way to increase the brightness without rebooting. Fractional scaling was also not working.

     Now I'm back to debloated Windows 11 Pro Edition.
