Eric Ireland@pinhman Phones get really hot when they're in the sun and running all day, so a lot of people (including me) have them mounted on the vent to the air conditioner to keep them cool. The air blowing on the speaker renders the microphone inoperable. You could get everyone wearing earplugs I suppose, but I just don't think it's necessary.
