   As a parent of a Gen Z kid, I can tell you that their whole entire lives they’ve seen the government put them last. Guns, covid, student loans, cost-of-living, it’s always their gen that has gotten fucked.

   This TikTok ban vividly reinforces what they already know.

     @dansinker I would add two topics to your list: climate change and AI, neither of which is being planned to benefit the people who are going to be adults from here to 2100.

     @dansinker I know for my teens, they are very concerned about what to study and how to avoid having a career that's particularly vulnerable to AI. And of course, whether it makes sense to plan for the future at all.
