   wow so Tiktok was actually banned huh. Instead of asking for a revert I'd say just throw in Facebook and Twitter in there too, globally! But that would never happen.

     It is a good opportunity to start a conversation and drop in that there are alternatives that respect privacy, don't use it as an excuse to drop in a plug for your own content, unless that is brought up by saying no one uses it (refering to pixelfed / peertube / loops) then you can point people to the instance you are on and also ask them what they are intereste in and see if you can (after some research) help them find an instance that reflects their interest.
