     @tinker No kidding. I just finished reading a book about Voice of America and Radio Liberty during the Cold War, when the Soviets jammed the broadcasts, and I’m starting to feel there’s an uncomfortable parallel here.

     @jillL - Yeah thats trash, too. ByteDance licking Trump's boot. The idea that the president (Executive Branch) can unilaterally ignore Congress (Legislative Branch) AND the Supreme Court (Judicial Branch).

     Like. I think its stupid that they passed the law. I think its REALLY stupid it was upheld as "constitutional". But the idea of the President ignoring Congress and the Courts is fucking horrendous.

     Seriously - Congress voted to ban TikTok (which I disagree with). SCOTUS upheld the ban (which is messed up). And now the President IGNORES both congress and SCOTUS... ummm what the fuck?!?! The president is now a king? Cool. Can't be punished for his actions. And can issue unilateral decision opposing the other two branches. Fucking Neat.
