You're section about "The Real Solution" is limited to privacy legislation but it should also cover deleting Meta apps and joining fedi instead. In fact that should really be step 1 if the goal is to stop Meta collecting your're data

Pro tip: use Firefox with its "containers" add-on, then create containers for the various websites you visit. The site will only be able to collect data from that container.
