     I can't agree nor disagree to that choice, because of unclarity.

     What or who exactly do you mean by »democrats«?
     Persons supporting the idea of democracy (whatever, again, is meant by that term; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy)?
     Or rather members and followers or voters for the US democratic party?

     The concept of real democracy in terms of the people having the power is probably no antagonism to anti-capitalism or communism, i think.
