   Earlier this week we were without internet for 24 hours; my word that scared me to realise how much we rely on it. If it were not for my samba share then we would have had nothing to watch, all of the radios in the house are internet connected so had nothing to listen to except podcasts that were already in my catcher. Couldn't look up something that I wanted to find out. I've never taken the step into a smart home, so thankfully nothing functional was affected.

     @kevie It might be possible - depending on your router - to plug your phone into the router via USB and then enable USB tethering. The network could then use your phone as a form of backup internet.

     Disclaimer: I have never tried this to see if it works. I should.

     @thelovebug I have a SIM router as a backup and even the mobile network was down: it was 24 hours of total offline 😭

     @thelovebug btw yes that does work, enable ethernet over USB, I recommend an ethernet adapter so that allows you to plug the phone into that the power keeps 👍🏻
