     @igb well, the Social Web devroom is open to everyone at FOSDEM. Jack Dorsey has spent a lot of time in the last few years trash-talking ActivityPub and promoting proprietary non-standard protocols like Bluesky and Nostr. I think it would be great to have him come see the presentations about Open Source software developed for the Fediverse.

     @igb I think the talks are all going to be recorded, so there should be a lot to watch. Hopefully we're going to have more events this year on other continents.

     @igb You're probably right. I thought it was a little sassy to invite him to come see talks about all the great things happening in the Fediverse, but if he hasn't opened up to it yet, it's unlikely he will.

     @evan look, Jack isn’t going to be convinced by any presentations. He is a selfish fool, and the Fediverse and the open source community is better served by not legitimizing or platforming his opinions.
