DreamForge MagazineToday's word: Tsundoku. The act of acquiring books and letting them pile up unread. Originated in late 19th century Japan, combining "tsumu" (to pile up) and "doku" (to read). The term was created to describe the behavior of buying books and leaving them unread in one's home (just while we're getting round to it, of course.)
