All this feels really empowering and I wanna help others do the same! 🚀

  @emmecola I promise you, the perceived difficulty of self-hosting is just an illusion. I have ZERO coding skills (aside from HTML) but I was able to follow #YunoHost's simple instructions. I wouldn't be able to do anything without YunoHost.
  But yeah, admittedly I'm nerdier than the average person 😅

  @_elena @emmecola I've found that the real test of self hosting (whether of web servers, DNS servers, etc) is usually less in the establishment/set-up phase and more in the recovery from failure (e.g. lost disk) phase.

  Yesterday I started a new repo to rewrite my personal site from scratch. The current version was whipped together in like 3 days in React (_terrible_ for a static site but I just needed something).
  My pipe dream is to use part of my site to catalog all the ways this administration is hurting us.
  I’m not an artist. I can’t make music. I don’t write. But I can research, and I can code. That’s my rebellion.
