     I am now completely tapped out of funds on all my accounts. I have NO income incoming, and cannot seek work due to my medical condition, per doctor's orders. Crowdfunding is all I have for basic essentials until my appeal for disability benefits is resolved. There are NO other options.

     For the benefit of those in the peanut gallery wanting to push the "Stop begging and go get a job!!" meme:

     Maybe if you all would stop raiding and looting the public fisc for your billionaires' fifth yachts and fund a decent social safety net for those of us who have sacrificed our labor the past 40 years, then the "begging" would be much less.

     Actually, though??

     The best way to induce us to "stop begging" is to give a donation to our efforts.

     I know I wouldn't be "begging" at all if my insurance company didn't decide to terminate my disability benefits while I am still unable to work; and my appeal to get federal disability benefits didn't have to cut through bureaucratic red tape.

     Just got $70 in donations....thank you!! Need $230 more to clear the rent, must be done TODAY!! $500 more needed for other bills and purchasing food!! Bitter winter storm incoming!! Please help!!

     New update:

     Just met with my landlord; he has finally made the arrangements for me to move out tomorrow morning, but I have to pay the balance of the rent to him tomorrow morning before I can finally clear out. That means I have to have that $230 rent put in his hands.

     He wants to get everything done before CajunSneauxmageddon hits us Monday night.

     That means that I ABSOLUTELY HAVE to have that $230 for the rent RIGHT NOW so there are no more complications. The other $500 for other expenses, bills, and food, will have to be deferred for the end of the month.

     If I can get that $230, plus some extra for ordering some food right now, I will be at least content. Of course, if you have the means to donate the full amount, I won't stop you, it will be put to good use.
