   Why should I live and he dies? What makes me the conqueror? Why do I avoid the cut? Speed? Ballistics? Science and technology? Thumbs?
   
   Don't answer that. I don't want to know. Hell I don't wanna know anything anymore. In this world nothing is equalized, nothing is fair, nothing is resolved. Everything we've ever done or will do will happen over and over again. I can only bear witness. I don't lack the constitution for suicide, but I know it is not yet time.
   
   I will cry the same tears, and tell the same stories, and hope to god something changes. And the bugs and the vultures and the microbes have had their turn we'll pick up the same bones and ask the same questions. Again, and again, and again.
   
   I know what happens next. It doesn't get easier.
