Shitlibs bitching about "ableism" are obviously retarded, but there is a grain of truth in that not everyone can "learn to code," not everyone can do HVAC, not everyone can be a plumber, not everyone can be a Panda Express Manager, etc. If you don't have somewhat decent remuneration for a wide variety of jobs at a wide variety of skill levels, that's going to lead to social problems. Some people aren't super smart, some aren't very physically capable, some don't do well in social situations. Excepting the extremely incompetent and irresponsible, it should be a social priority for people to be able to earn a living wage under reasonable working conditions, even if they have one or two shortcomings that make them a poor fit for whatever hot field is in vogue right now.
