   For my friends on Diasp.org when you move you may want to consider #Friendica. Friendica supports both the Diaspora* protocol and ActivityPub, in addition to direct support of RSS & its own DFRN; many more are available via plug-in (Bluesky, pump.io, Ostatus, etc.).

   Take a look at dir.friendica.social/servers with info on the various instances out there, or fediverse.observer to find what is geographically the nearest, which can improve speed. If you still can't pick one libranet.de, where i'm at, is a good one. It has got a wide range of plug-ins installed, the instance is well maintained on the dev branch, and the rules are that all people with good intentions welcome.@joebraun @7sleepers @jasonpackman @diasporian @jbt @karthikeyan @mikewb1971 @william5749

     opening a libranet.de friendica account also give you access to their nexcloud instance with 500MB of storage, expandable upon request, and the libranet.de XMPP server.
