   1 year ago I reported that this Ansible playbook doesn't run on MacOS because it crashes with a Python error. Not a regular error, a hard exception.
   
   It's still happening, nobody fixed it. Nobody on this project at work apparently runs the playbook from their Macs

     I don't *want* to run it from my Mac, but when I run it from my FreeBSD dev jail I have to fire up an OpenVPN connection. That connection is also needed for tools like Kubernetes, so I can't use my OpenLens app very easily without tunneling it through that FreeBSD dev jail... it's a goddamn mess. Very annoying.

     @Marwe I can only guess Python is doing something that the MacOS is now denying due to recent kernel security changes in newer MacOS releases
     
     It works just fine on FreeBSD and Linux.

     @feld and you could not find it or find someone in your neighborhood to take a deeper look at it?
     Ok, sounds like a difficult thing maybe from deep, lower layers.
     What about different Python versions, debugging etc?
