     @EricFielding I actually thought it had gotten even closer due to the Nasa FIRES heat bloom imagery I was seeing. Still, we came so close to having a good chunk of the overall US space program go up in smoke.

     @Infoseepage The closest destroyed house was about 400 meters/yards east from the East Gate of JPL, so it was very close with strong winds blowing westward.
