     @eff They're afraid. They have every reason to be afraid, and it's their own fault.

     Weirdly, their fear never nudges them in the right direction. Big Tech bosses could very easily de-escalate the situation. Instead, they prompt further radicalization and make ever more people despise them.

     TLDR: Shooting the messenger is always wrong, no matter how much you hate the message.
