   Thanks @RollingStone for a GREAT article about the National Cathedral and the #Episcopal Church. A positive but balanced story beyond the typical narratives.

   IDK that they have Matthew Shepherd's ashes. His parents were concerned that no matter where is grave was, it would be desecrated by the Westboro Baptist Church. The Cathedral volunteered to keep them safe.

     I explicitly did not put a content warning on this. It does touch upon #USPol but I felt its central point is the #Christian witness practiced by the Cathedral. A border-line case for a CW but I felt that it was worth reading, even for those outside of the US. Apologies to my non-US friends if they are a bit annoyed by this. But I felt compelled from my heart to share something about a group of people I care very deeply about.
