   I would like to preempt the following with a disclaimer: I hold no illusions that I am the smartest person ever. I have had the good fortune of working with legitimately smart people and they are a joy if, for no other reason, I don't have to explain my jokes/references.

   With that being said — Working with morons is exhausting...

   I want to, sincerely, apologize if I ever frustrated those smart people whom I have worked with in the past.

     Smart people don't think they're smart, it's like Dunning Krueger in reverse. It's why they are ignored and idiots rule the plebs.
