     @DaNanner There are ~16k Starbucks stores in the US. There are around 9k public libraries according to the American Library Association. That's not exponentially more, that's less. There are fewer public libraries where people can pee than there are Starbucks stores.

     Counting school libraries is a cheat. Good luck walking into some elementary school as a homeless person to use the bathroom.

     @Infoseepage which link? I copied a link to a toot where I referenced three other sites, and in my app I am able to click on each one separately. It shows up as embedded.

     @DaNanner Looks like the number I saw was "central public libraries" which didn't include the branch libraries. Think it is fair to include the branch libraries, as presumably those also include publicly accessible bathrooms, but pretty sure the bookmobiles don't have one. So, what you've got is a situation where the number of public central+branch libraries is in a dead heat with the number of Starbucks.

     @DaNanner I very much support public libraries and wish there were a lot more municipal provided bathrooms. The commercialization of being able to pee and poop is a very bad trend imo.

     @Infoseepage services ok… so are you going to support your local library? or continue to argue about the message? — which came about because Starbucks is reversing its open door policy and libraries are able to fill that need, but people often forget about libraries and the community work that they do.
