   How long is your longest work?

   The Laundry Files currently has 1.6 million words in print: the last planned book will push it past the 1.7 million word mark although there may be a subsequent short story collection. It's not got long enough legs to make it to 2M words, though.

   After that, the Merchant Princes/Empire Games series runs to a whisker under 1M words (and is almost certainly finished).

   For comparison, the King James edition of the Bible is roughly 785,000 words.
