   @MekahimeAkari Do what I did,.
   1) start with triaging bug reports (in my case GCC).
   2) fix a few bug reports.
   3) earn a reputation about fixing those bugs; specialize in one area of the compiler (or a few)
   4) meet folks
   5) Profit

     How do I switch to being a compiler engineer

     I have no experience working on compilers but it sounds kinda interesting
