     Social Darwinism says that the strong should survives and the weak should die. If someone is weak in a Social Darwinistic system, they are left to suffer and die.

     Socialism says that both the strong and weak should survive. If someone is weak in a socialist system, they are given the necessities of life that they lack.

     Social Darwinism literally can not be used to justify socialism because they are polar opposites.

     @jeffowski Social Darwinism has been used to justify Capitalism, Socialism, and Fascism. It has nothing to do with the scientific theory.
