In the #Hegseth hearing Sen Kelly describes specific events of his drunkenness.
Hegseth calls them anonymous smears. Why? To muddy the waters for TV.
Names aren't brought up by the committee members because they know those people's lives will be threatened.

The ones who are on the record supporting Hegseth know THEY would get smeared, their reputations destroyed & death threats if they talked.
This tactic is designed use the Trump online mob to threaten witnesses & reward liars for nominees.
