We should just straight up ban companies from advertising "no sugar added".
Surely, juice companies all feel obligated to do it because their competitors are doing it too. Because otherwise, why would they? The claim is useless. In the EU, all drinks sold as juice are required to have no added sugar, and while no sugar was added, some is naturally present in the fruit, so this doesn't give any useful information to the buyer.
And then the claim needs to be followed by TWO disclaimers: that this is done because it's required by law, and that the drink still contains sugar.
Nobody wants this. Buyers get nothing from this, and I think no juice company would advertise this if it weren't the norm. This is an instance of "asbestos-free cereals" that we failed to stop.
