   Why does my salt have an expiration date? Seems we should probably have exceeded this before it made it into the bottle.

     BTW, it is Himalayan pink salt. I thought this stuff was carved out of the face of ancient 10 million year old cliffs and that I could pass it down through the generations in my family.
