@Grumblesock I'll keep my fingers crossed for her. And I need to buy a detector, as well. Mine crapped out last year, but I had other things going on.
If you moved, leaving the foxes would be the hardest thing...

Leaving them will be the hardest thing but I can't stay for them. they thought has occurred to catch and bring them with but that would be too unfair to them and the animals on the other end too.

@Grumblesock Good thought; get the carbon monoxide tester. That could definitely be changing her personality. And you should talk to her son; this sounds concerning.
As far as holidays, I've never wanted to be away any longer than 3 weeks, and even that was long. When I had the house in AZ, the longest I stayed was a month, and I couldn't wait to get home.

Yeah, i don't like such shifts in personality. I might be going down the worn path and at least here getting away will be a good acid test for anything that might be environmental like CO1.
That why I kind make home where I settle but really don't get away for more than a week at anytime these days. I'm certainly not attached to the physical environment I'm typing from right now, animals and plant excepting, but I don't like to live out of bags and boxes for long.

@Grumblesock I'm glad she changed her plans, but three months is a long time to be away. Not sure I could do that, but good for her.
Yes, talk to her son. That is so unhealthy for her to be living in, not to mention dangerous.

I couldn't do it either. I've always been the type to move wholesale to other countries, I was never one for holidays abroad of any duration, if I want a real chance to know a place you have to live there for a good stretch of time 3 months isn't enough for me.
It could be that she's dealing with carbon monoxide issues. I'll see if I can grab a detector when out in town and test it tomorrow but she's made some ... peculiar, out of character choices these last 5 months or so., nothing too extreme but odd.

It does sound like something a random band name generator would spit out 😂.
Nah it's all going to be easy today, rest of the week I'll be helping a friend get her house fixed up before she goes away for 3 months so a bit of light cleaning and grocery shopping will be the easy stuff for the week.
Most anything that shows before May here can handle frost and snow, I worry more about the animals, naturally. I'll enjoy the milder temperatures this next week we'll be back to freezing soon enough. Wish me snow.

@Grumblesock Look at you, all organized and stuff...😊
I will gladly wish you snow...you can have whatever may be coming my way in the next month! It's only fun the first day; then it sucks. And is that your friend who was going to India? If so, good luck and God bless!

Hardly, I'm still in my pjs but i suppose I have organised it to be so :pepe_nerd:.
We'll do a weather trade but I know I'll also tire of it after a day or two myself.
That's the one, she's going to Hong Kong and Thailand instead, thank goodness. Her wood burner hasn't had a chimney clean in ages and her whole living room is thick with soot. Honestly I think something might have gone on with her brain like a stroke or something. I'll have to try and raise it gracefully with her son when next I seem him.

@Grumblesock Eye Twitching Psychosis opened for the Stones in '77...
It really does throw one off their game, and all manners and rationale disappear. Don't overdo it today; I grow concerned when you get overly ambitious! (did the laundry dry last night?)
No shoots here; it's too early. We've had snow in late March before, and anything that comes up before gets destroyed. Which reminds me, I have to go buy bulbs for my front garden.

Ah excellent, I hope this is followed by many more good sleeps to come. Nothing beats waking up fully refreshed.
How's the temperature there? Another fuzzy PJ's day? :apu_comfy:

@Grumblesock I hope so, as lack of sleep makes me a bit murderous if it goes on too long.
It's cold now (it's morning, duh) but supposed to get warm this afternoon. Then the artic mass moves in again tomorrow, so today is errand day. Spring can't get here soon enough...

It's annoying how easily sleepless nights snowball into full on eye twitching psychosis in me.
I'll hope it warms enough to make errands a litle easier at least. I've cleaned half the house today but need to go and get supplies in town and I'll sort the rest when I return.
I noticed nice vibrant green shoots coming up in the places that the snowdrops grow after the frosts and snow last week, spring is coming. :cats_dance:

Yes, I finally got good sleep, thank you!
I'm shocked...
