there was this post floating around screencapping another post speculating on how gaiman ended up where he did (short version: he's a goth fuckboi who kept being a goth fuckboi despite the power differential between him & people he fancied growing larger and larger) saying something like how eye-opening it was that sexual abuse isn't always perpetrated by purely evil monsters
