I've been thinking about this, is there not a self-hosted thing you can run on a web server? It seems like thee should be?

Oh, that's so strange, when I looked it up before I got a load of commercial links and I was wondering what it was all about. I have just searched again and it's all FOSS stuff. Search is so broken these days.

@chris That is a big issue. I have gotten my wife to use Synology Photos, but that’s basically it. Thankfully, that’s all she needs.

@chris We use it for work and I find the user management particularly weak. As admin I feel powerless and little sync errors send users spinning out and it’s really hard to fix for them.

@chris that is indeed my limited experience with nextcloud so far. But then again, I'm not good at these things. In case you try adding members and manage to keep up the performance, please share tips and tricks.
