Nach meinem Thread zu "Own a domain" [1] und der geplanten Blogserie [2], will ich mein Wissen und meine Hilfe direkt anbieten. Daher suche ich eine Kneipe/Restaurant in #München mit guter Internetanbindung für einen regelmässiges Treffen mit dem Arbeitstitel Domänenmanufaktur, wo man sich trifft um Domains zu besitzen und zu nutzen, damit man ein wenig unabhängiger von den Grossen Techbetrieben wird. Hinweise werden gerne entgegengenommen

  After many years and experiments, another conclusion I'd like to share: - Make sure you "own" (well, technically: rent) at least one domain name with a recognisable but not "funny" name (my main domain is wildeboer.net) - Only "buy" one of .com, .net, .org, .eu (when you live there) or your countries top level domain (TLD). Ignore all the fancy hype TLDs. Your domain can become your digital identity authority that YOU control. This will become more important mid-to longterm, IMHO. 1/5

  Ich hatte kurz überlegt das mit der Stadtbibliothek zu besprechen und da zu machen, aber das es um kommerzielle Angebote geht wenn man Domains bucht, könnte das problematisch werden. Aber vielleicht liege ich auch daneben, was das angeht. Anyway. Jeder sollte eine Domain haben und nutzen um seine digitale Identität selbst zu verwalten und wie das geht will ich gerne teilen!

  ... und falls es in Hamburg und Umland Bedarf gibt, bitte melden - da läßt sich sicher ähnliches auf die Beine stellen.
