   How many times I wish for G+ style circles or even muts only posts. There's shitposting I want to do that is 100% not appropriate or safe for broad consumption.

     Yeah. I really feel like G+ circles are the right underlying model for a general purpose social network. They did a whole lot of things wrong on that project, but that one underlying idea they got right.
