Good Morning friends and happy Sunday! Please remember to attend church and or spend some time in quiet reflection and prayer thanking God for your many blessings and read your Bible!

@King_Noticer @pepsi_man Fun fact: the incensor has 12 jingly bells on it, and one of them is intentionally broken. The bells are likely a throwback to when the high priest would enter into The Holy of Holies wearing bells on his robe and the broken bell represents Judas who fell away even in the presence of Jesus Christ.

@King_Noticer
Yes, but ultimately you're gonna want to convert to Orthodoxy

Interesting, but Judas was replaced right away (everybody forgets the poor guy)
Acts 1:26
And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
I don't know much about the history of the censor though as far as what the Orthodox do with it

@tyler @King_Noticer @pepsi_man It's used to incense the altar and the Eucharist, as well as various times throughout the church. Because we believe in the real presence during communion, the significance is a bit bigger with the bells being like the ones the high priest would wear to the Holy of Holies. If the priest was found unworthy, he would die and the bells would stop ringing.
