He was a pretty good Prime Minister with the courage to stand up to the US when it counted. When the US was lying to the world about WMDs in Iraq, he stood by the truth. As a direct consequential result of this literally hundreds of Canadian soldiers are alive and well today having not been part of an unjustified war of imperial conquest.
