Many, many years ago, I used to roleplay quite a lot in a virtual world called SecondLife (pic).

One of the things, you can do to a person there, is applying a "garble" filter to them, so no matter, what they type, other people would only see a stream of incoherent gibberish - pretty similar to what you get if you ask major search engines for the answer to some question, you might have, about any given topic.

That's why I will call generative language models "garble machines" from now on.
