There is a lot of misinformation being spread about ICE raids online. A social media group in my city spread false information about an ICE raid that didn't actually happen.

I saw this during Trump's first term. Bad actors create and share posts reporting ICE raids to intimidate immigrants. And well-meaning people share this info thinking that they're helping to spread the word. (1/2)

If you come across this sort of post, please do your due diligence before reposting it.

Call local immigrant advocacy orgs or immigration law firms to confirm this information. They will send someone to investigate whether it's real or not. They will also provide services for people affected if it's real. (2/2)

And here are "red cards" which are "know your rights" cards for coming into contact with ICE. They come in various languages.

You can download your own and pass them along. https://www.ilrc.org/red-cards-tarjetas-rojas

Red Cards / Tarjetas Rojas | Immigrant Legal Resource Center | ILRC
All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The ILRC’s Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home. Special thanks to our many partners who contributed translations in the various languages now available, making these red cards accessible to more individuals.
